The Adler- und Löwenkaserne, build in 1935 near the Olympic village was taken over by the Soviets in 1945 just as happened with
Kaserne Krampnitz. When the Soviets left in the early 90's the buildings were in rather good shape that there was decided to keep it active for the Bundeswehr. Due to soil contamination however these plans were abandoned and this place is empty since 1998. Also a huge and vast complex that soon will be reconversed as says the sign outside. Work is also in progress there as is patroling security.
Sadly enough, the lioness ( symbol of this place) has been moved to a safer place earlier this year to keep it secure from vandalism. I will keep on repeating that true Urbexers take nothing but pictures and leave nothing but footsteps in the dust...
All pictures shot with the Fuji X-E1 and the XF14mm.
Now on to the pictures ...
