In the region where I Live I don't have the possibilty to shoot images like this. Not without going on a holiday anyhow. But with a little imagination, a DSLR and a sturdy tripod it is possible!
The secret is revealed in the next shot...
...being almost at the top and in the next image where I actually reached the summit of this big pile of frosted sand covered with snow...
Mind you, with a timer set to 10 seconds I still had to ascend this "mountain" very fast. A good physical condition is a must :)
