Urbex in France, part 3/4 : Sanatorium de Dreux

We started our second day in France by visiting the Sanatorium of Dreux. Again a place constructed in the 1930's and had a capacity, during its best days, of 750 beds. This is a huge complex, but sadly enough left in ruins. Parts started closing in 1956 and most of it was closed in 1980.
Nowadays it is used as a training area by the Firebrigade, the Gendarmerie and le Raid ( French Police elite unit : Recherche, Assistance, Intervention and Dissuasion)...
